Our Vision

Every student will walk off the graduation stage with a diploma in one hand and CTE certification/proficiency in the other along with college credit on their transcript.

A Relevant Education for All at MUHSD

MUHSD works hard to provide "a relevant education for all". A relevant education means that every student walks off the graduation stage each June able to articulate his or her next step in life and has the skills to attain his or her goals.

Merced Automatic Admission Program

A new MUHSD program in partnership with UC Merced will create higher education opportunities for students. Students enrolled in the Merced Automatic Admission Program (MAAP) who complete specific requirements at the time of graduation will be guaranteed admission to UC Merced. The program commenced with the Fall 2023 application cycle.

Career Technical Education

MUHSD's #1 goal is for students to be both college and career ready. Career Technical Education is offered at MUHSD, which provides students with academic and technical knowledge and the skills necessary to prepare them for further education and/or for careers in current and emerging employment sectors.
