MUHSD Online Safety Trainings

Public School Works

Merced Union High School District is fully committed to the health and safety of all faculty, staff, students and visitors. The district believes that occupant safety and a healthy environment are important factors in the functioning of the total educational program, making the district schools a better place to learn and work, creating positive relationships with the district customers and stakeholders, and preparing students to be responsible citizens and to work safely in the community.

As part of the district’s ongoing program to meet this safety commitment, comply with regulatory requirements, and contain health care costs, all employees must complete certain safety training, when they first start working for the district and periodically thereafter. The courses are available through My Safety Portal on the new PublicSchoolWORKS online staff training system.

MUHSD InnovatEd

InnovatEd offers teachers, administrators, and classified staff personalized learning opportunities in areas related to blended learning and technology, pedagogy and instructional best practices, and various other job and educational service related areas. InnovatEd courses are divided into a two-tiered system. Each tier requires a different level of commitment from the participant and tiers progressively increase in rigor.

Explore the quick links below for more information on required online trainings for staff or to log in to the InnovatEd professional learning platform.

Please contact MUHSD InnovatEd staff with any questions.

Staff can now enhance their professional knowledge at home, on their prep periods, during weekends and vacations. Gone are the days of one-size-fits-all, one-time trainings. InnovatEd allows staff members to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule about the topics they are most interested in.
